About Honorary Membership
Why become an Honorary Member?
You may include this distinction on your AADSAS dental school application, and it serves as a meaningful way to demonstrate your commitment to the organization and the pre-dental community at UCF.
Honorary Members also receive priority seating and special recognition at our end-of-the-year banquet, for their involvement and accomplishments.
Do I have to become an Honorary Member to be in PDSA?
Not at all! Honorary Member status is completely optional and is not required to participate in PDSA or be an involved member of our community.
We understand that everyone balances different schedules, jobs, extracurriculars, and personal commitments. Participate in PDSA in the ways that work best for you! Along the way, we hope that you will make new friends, gain valuable experiences, learn more about dentistry, and find a community!
What does being an Honorary Member represent?
Becoming an Honorary Member means that you have taken advantage of many of the opportunities PDSA has to offer. More than just checking off requirements, the distinction recognizes members who consistently show up, got involved, and contributed to the PDSA community throughout the year.
